A Gift Guide For Your American Friend Who Lives In France
I can't get enough of gift guides so I made one too.
I follow a lot of fashion people and media people and fashion media people because they always post about things I want to buy, and I sure do like buying. Somehow all these editorial folks agreed that the holiday season began this week and all of the gift guides would necessarily also hit this week—I guess a late Thanksgiving begot an early Black Friday or something? Did y’all decide this at the annual magazine meeting? Whatever, I love it. I love swiping my credit card, specifically for my own benefit.
I also see a lot of the PR types saying “ah sorry about all the gift guides, it’s too many gift guides!”—it’s not. Never too many gift guides, keep them coming, let the consumerism wash over me, I want to feel want.
